After graduating from Vassar College with a degree in Art History, Pamela Grant came to France for a month to pursue French studies. That was over 15 years ago and, needless to say, the endless beauty and history of the “City of Light” drew her in. Pamela is one of the few foreigners to have passed the rigorous French National Guide examination.

For the past ten years, Pamela has created and led tours for a discerning international clientele, ranging from individuals, couples and large groups. Besides her insider’s knowledge of Paris, she also takes visitors to explore the beauty of Versailles, artists’ homes (such as Monet’s garden in Giverny), Vincent Van Gogh’s last refuge in Auvers-sur-Oise and Napoleon and Josephine’s exquisite Chateau Malmaison.

Amongst her other talents, Pamela is also a writer and translator specializing in the film industry. She interviewed French Holocaust survivors for Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Project. You can also spot her name on the silver screen credits for the English adaptation of Edith Piaf’s life story “La Vie en Rose”.
